* Freedom. Thank you to all of the men and women who fight for our freedom. Who spend these holidays away from their families. Who give up their freedoms for ours. Those who only get to see the ones they love in pictures and dreams, night after night. Those who miss out on the moments we take for granted everyday. Those who give their lives so that we can continue to live ours free. Thank you. From the very bottom of my heart, thank you.
* My good health, my child's good health, Dylan's, my mom's, brother's, father's... the list goes on. We are all very healthy for the most part and I am so thankful for that.
* Being very close to marrying my other half. (Dylan, not Jessica ;) I love you.
* Having fabulous soon to be in-laws.
* The roof over my head, the food on our table, the socks on my feet. I am thankful for it all.
* Did I already say Brooklyn??? That child is my world. Thank you God for blessing me with my perfect angel. I now truly understand love.
* I am thankful that Texas finally caught up and realized it is late November and the weather is starting to cooperate.
* Good chapystick.
* Being loved by so many people. Thank you all.
* I am thankful for good people. I love good people.
There are many more things I am thankful for. I try to take time everyday to think about the things I am thankful for. We all need to make sure we use our manners and give thanks when there are thanks to be given! Thank you for caring enough to read my thoughts. Happy Thanksgiving.
Much love.

Dear Lateral Incisors......
Would you please just come through already? Brooklyn has been having such a hard time with these teeth! She has had fever up to 102 on and off this week. One of them finally came through and the other upper tooth is trying to now. She cries and fusses and gets so upset. It breaks my heart. She has been waking up at night crying and with fever. She now has drool rash all over her chin which is getting better now with the help of Lansinoh that I used while breastfeeding. I googled what would help her and this was the top vote and after just one use it already looks better! Yay!
We went to doctor for the second dose of the flu shot and Brooklyn weighed in at 20.14 lbs!! This was two days after her 10 month bday. She is a little on the short side of average they say ;). Short legs like her Mama & Yaya. Her hair is getting longer everyday and there are more and more curls coming in! I love it!!! With my curly hair and Dylan's waves, she was bound to have some crazy hair. It is absolutely adorable and I am so excited it is growing!
We went to the Houston Zoo last week! Brooklyn enjoyed watching the people more than the anmials. She had a fabulous time and it completely distracted her from all of the teething pain! She was only fussy for a very short time. She loved the carousel and danced the entire time we went 'round and 'round. Hilarious! When we got there, I took out my new camera and took one picture before it died and I realized I had forgotten to charge it the night before. I almost cried! Grandma saved the day with hers though. I would have like to take some with mine, but I will remember next time!
We are preparing for Brooklyn's first Thanksgiving!!! We will have Thanksgiving here at home one Wed so that Mom, Josh, Dalaree and Dylan will be able to be with us. Then at 5am, Mom and I are headed to do some Black Friday shopping!! I am so excited about Christmas this year with Brooklyn! I am going to hold off on getting into that excitement because it calls for its own blog!! Saturday after Turkey Day, we are headed to Gatesville to celebrate there! My family is going to join us as well. I am thrilled! Dylan and I are so blessed to have such amazing families and I am personally so thankful to be a part of the Blanchard family. They are such great people! We are starting a tradition this year, Blanchard Football!! I have made our shirts and this should be a very interesting game! I cant wait to post about the all of the Thanksgiving festivities!! I wish you all a very Happy Holiday season!
Much Love.

I can't believe it is almost that time....
Brooklyn is going to be a year old. Wow. It is exciting and sad at the same time. I am so thankful that she is a happy and very healthy little girl. This past 10 months has been the greatest 10 months of my life. It is not always easy, but it is ALWAYS worth it. She is such a joy. (Most of the time) ;) I have been thinking about her birthday party and trying to gather my thoughts and ideas about what to do. I am starting a new little project inspired by this event. I am going to make a video of the last year, put together using photographs and short video clips from her life so far! Im trying to decide on the music now, I want to pick the perfect song. I have never made a video so this is going to be a learning experience for me!! If anyone has any ideas or tips please let me know!! I will post the finished product after her birthday. (Its a surprise people.)

No Way November... What!!!!
That is what Ellen said in every episode of her show in Nov 2007. Kinda odd that I remember that, but whatever. I LOVE NOVEMBER! I just wish Texas weather would get with it and feel like November for longer than one day at a time! Brooklyn has tons of adorable fall clothes that I am ready for her to wear but its too darn hot. Ridiculous. Im pretty sure that she is going to be walking anytime now. She will let go of things and stand alone for a couple of seconds and has mastered the walking around furniture while holding on with just one hand. She wants to run when you hold her hands. I cant believe she is going to be ten months old in a few days! Wow! And she is wearing 12 month clothes!! She does this hilarious jibber jabber that I refer to as speaking cursive. Its hilarious. She goes on and on. She loves to put things on her head. Strange kid. Tell her "put it on your head" and she does it. She thinks its hilarious, you dont even have to tell her to do it. She will do it then look at you waiting for you to laugh. I love that she is so full of personality now :)
Boo!! (on me for not taking more pictures!)
Halloween was a huge success this year but I only have a few pictures. How does that happen??? I always take entirely too many pictures and I ended up with only a few of BB in her monster costume. Dont tell anyone but Im going to dress her back up and take some more and nobody will ever know :) Im sure she is going to appreciate that. I took her trick or treating in College Station with my Mom, Grandma, Jess, Rachael, Miss Ava and Jon. (Daddy had to work) We all enjoyed the candy the babies got us! Brooklyn came back to Houston with the grandparents and I stayed in CS to have some Mommy time! I had a blast. I do not have a single picture of myself to prove it, but I had a fabulous time. I was a french maid (along with Kate and Jessica) and Im thinking I should wear the costume when Im cleaning the house. :) Im already planning what we will be next year. Im thinking we need a funny family theme. Man, I love Halloween!
